Video Surveillance

Dynamic video surveillance and recording solutions to monitor your facility

Communications Electronics Systems provides secure access to your facility by allowing only authorized individuals to enter with a designated card or credential. This security solution automatically creates an audit trail, so you know who enters your facility when and for what reason. If you need to revoke access for an individual, simply delete their access in your system. Our systems are available for both exterior and interior access control, and can be installed in one building or many facilities.

Cameras and Recording

Gone are the days of grainy video, CRT monitors and VCR recorders: Today’s cameras produce ultra-high-definition images day and night. Our network video recorders can make live and recorded video available to any device with a network connection, whether a computer in your building or your smartphone in the field. Many of our customers use video for more than preventing crime: They like to know what’s happening at their facility. Even something as simple as knowing if the parking lot has been plowed can improve business operations.

Physical Security Information Management (PSIM)

Designed to integrate multiple unconnected security applications and devices to control them through one comprehensive user interface, the PSIM collects and correlates events from disparate security systems (video, access control, sensors, analytics, networks, building systems, etc.) to empower security personnel to identify and proactively resolve situations.

Console and Equipment Racking

Maintaining a neat and professional-looking equipment arrangement is about more than just aesthetics; it allows fast and effective troubleshooting and upgrades. No matter the external environment, a quality racking system will protect your investment in expensive and sensitive equipment.

Wireless Networks

Whether point-to-point or mesh, wireless networks connect security system components where cabling is not practical. In addition, wireless networks offer organizations the ability to avoid the costly installation of cables when doing so would damage sensitive or historically significant buildings.

Fiber Optic Cabling and Networks

Modern high-definition cameras generate a lot of data. Utilize fiber optic cabling for the backhaul of long-distance, high-performance networking and communications. Optical fiber carries more information than conventional copper wiring due to its higher bandwidth and faster speeds. And because the glass fiber does not conduct electricity, this type of cabling avoids electromagnetic interference and reduces signal losses.

President & CEO

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread in the United States and across the globe, we want to let everyone know that Communications Electronics’number one priority is to keep our employees, partners, and customers safe. Here is an update on preparations and steps we have taken to date. Two weeks ago, CE assembled a cross-disciplinary COVID-19 Management Team to actively monitor the situation and make recommendations to leadership. We have been assessing the situation daily, remaining vigilant, and following recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local authorities. We’ve assembled guidance for our employee teams, pursuant to these recommendations.

As you know, the situation is evolving rapidly, and COVID-19 is affecting people differently, depending on their location and situation. As a result, flexible solutions are needed. CE Senior Management is considering all options, including the possibility of asking staff to work remotely.

While we remain focused on the health and safety of our staff and those around us, we also remain committed to serving our customers. Fortunately, we have technology in place and significant experience with working remotely. We have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure we can continue to deliver uninterrupted, high quality service. Operational teams have been working to identify potential needs and strategies associated with full-virtual delivery of services. Project managers and supervisors are actively having preparedness discussions with our teams. Our IT team has been reviewing and testing systems and protocols, to ensure necessary tools and support for staff to operate virtually. Everyone has a role to play.

If you have questions or feedback, you can reach the COVID-19 Management Team at

Being flexible and able to overcome big challenges is part of what makes us who we are. We have the infrastructure, skills, and desire to support each other, while providing the highest level of service to our customers. Obviously, this is a fast moving, fluid situation affecting our country and the world. We will update our guidance and decisions as the situation changes. Please continue to monitor the CDC Website for updates.

We hope that you and your family are well,
