PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
It would not be practical to buy a new car every year, but you likely have your car serviced regularly to extend the life of your investment.
At Communications Electronics, we encourage our customers to take a similar approach to extending the total cost of ownership of their two-way radio systems and infrastructure by taking advantage of the preventive maintenance programs we offer on radios and network equipment.
Did you know you can extend the performance and life of your radios with an annual check-up where we physically inspect, clean, verify and electronically tune each radio? This annual check-up goes one step further by including software and firmware updates that ensure your radios are configured properly and provisioned to the latest product software release.
Communications Electronics also provides preventive maintenance for your mission-critical radio system infrastructure. Our preventive maintenance services include alignment and testing of key network components, regularly scheduled maintenance of network equipment along with software and firmware updates to ensure the system is up to date with the most current software updates.
LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT SERVICES/SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS:
Our Lifecycle Management Services and Service Level Agreements (SLA) help Land Mobile Radio system owners maintain and secure their system while reducing their total cost of ownership over the operational life of the system. If left alone over time, system performance can become compromised and susceptible to cyber-attacks. Today’s IP-based mission-critical networks require periodic upgrades to remain resilient and secure.
Your Land Mobile Radio Communication Network is comprised of several independent technologies; base stations, site controllers, routers, LAN switches, servers, dispatch consoles, operating system software and more, with each component having its own unique lifespan. Like any other integrated IT system, your two-way radio infrastructure and network requires periodic technology and software updates to allow your system to operate at optimal efficiency, stay current and future-proof.
At Communications Electronics, our certified Service Engineers and Field Technicians can offer you the peace of mind that your network will continue to operate at peak performance by implementing a comprehensive approach to servicing and maintaining your radio infrastructure. This includes system hardware, software and ongoing lifecycle management.
As new system releases become available, we work with you to upgrade software, hardware or both.
Further, we understand that system maintenance and upgrades should not impact or compromise your communication systems’ availability or cause business disruptions. Our unrivaled service requires proper planning and preparation, extensive testing, flawless implementation and post-upgrade training, if needed. During the process we will define, audit and communicate any new equipment requirements as well as any engineering support or field installation impact to system users during actual field upgrades.
Our consultants work closely with you to conduct periodic system assessments and adopt regular communication to provide peace of mind and to keep you informed of upcoming lifecycle changes and recommended strategy.
